It's easy to assume both products here do the same job at two price points, but that's not what's actually happening.
The Customized Diary Cover with Silver and Golden Gel Pen is a complete, standalone gift box. It includes the black-paged notebook, a silver gel pen, a golden gel pen, and the personalized cover, ready to give as-is.
The Personalized Book Cover is only the cover customization service. There's no notebook, no pen, nothing else in the box.
It's built to be added to a notebook you're already ordering from the black or multicolour collections, not bought on its own as a gift.
If you order it by itself expecting a complete present, what arrives is just the customized cover with nothing attached to it.
How the customization actually happens
Neither product finalizes at checkout the way the card add-on does.
You pick from 12 cover templates when you order, and then Pelikas reaches out on WhatsApp to confirm the actual name, date, or message before it goes into production.
That's worth building into your timeline if you're ordering close to a specific date.
There's a real back-and-forth step here that the plain gift boxes don't have, so it's not something you can order the night before and expect to arrive exactly as pictured without a check-in first.
Silver and gold together, not a choice between them
The complete gift box doesn't make you choose one pen color over the other, it includes both.
That's a genuine detail worth knowing if you assumed it was one or the other: you get a silver gel pen and a golden gel pen in the same box.
Practically, that gives you a spare in case one runs low, or lets two people split the set, or simply reads as a slightly more complete gift than a single-pen box would.

Buying both would mean paying for a second notebook and pair of pens you don't need.
